Baseball Game Preview: Blue Earth Buccaneers vs. Windom Eagles

Blue Earth is 1-7 against Windom since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Buccaneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Blue Earth is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to St. James.

Blue Earth saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Rosenau, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Rosenau has hit this season.

Luverne hit Windom with a ten-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Cardinals, falling 14-2. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Windom and nudges their season record down to 6-3. As for Blue Earth, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
