Soccer Game Preview: Medina Valley vs. Del Rio

The Medina Valley Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Del Rio Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Medina Valley will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Panthers on Friday. Medina Valley's defense stepped up to hand United South a 7-0 shutout. Medina Valley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting United South from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Cari Schott led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Del Rio got the win against United South on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Medina Valley's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those six contests. As for Del Rio, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8-1.
