Soccer Recap: Heritage Hills vs. Mt. Vernon
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Heritage Hills had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Mt. Vernon Wildcats onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won eight games by four goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Heritage Hills, bringing their record for this year to 16-1. As for Mt. Vernon, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Heritage Hills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Evansville Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Evansville Memorial is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season. Mt. Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
