The victory was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
It was another big night for Shane Williams, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
