Baseball Recap: Hagerty Find Success

Hagerty won the last time they faced West Orange and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hagerty Huskies came out on top against the West Orange Warriors by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

N. Adkins looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Hagerty got a massive performance out of S. Chucka, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Chucka a new career-high in runs. B. Levy was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hagerty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Orange only posted an OBP of .333.

Hagerty's record is now 2-0. As for West Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hagerty will square off against Winter Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Orange, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lake Nona at 7:00 p.m. Lake Nona will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something West Orange surely won't give up without a fight.
