Baseball Recap: Belleville East Comes Up Short

Belleville East fell victim to Edwardsville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Tigers. The Lancers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Belleville East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Kashycke, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Belleville East's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Edwardsville, they pushed their record up to 19-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
