Soccer Recap: Palacios Comes Up Short

Palacios lost against Rice Consolidated back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Palacios Sharks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rice Consolidated Raiders.

Palacios has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-2 record this season. As for Rice Consolidated, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palacios will head out to take on Bay City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rice Consolidated, they will venture away from home to challenge El Campo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. El Campo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
