Volleyball Recap: Harrison Snags 14th Win in Last 16 Games

There's no place like home for Harrison, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hamilton Heights Huskies by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Raiders were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Huskies, so the Raiders were just returning the favor.

Harrison never let Hamilton Heights on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23.

Della Bossung paced Harrison's offense, picking up eight kills. Bossung got some help from Jillian Deno and her 21 assists. Bossung was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Harrison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Hamilton Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-6.

Harrison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Kokomo on the 30th. As for Hamilton Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on the 29th.
