Volleyball Recap: Rains Comes Up Short

Rains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wills Point Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Rains' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Wills Point, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Rains will be playing at home against Blue Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wills Point, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Mineola on the 23rd.
