Volleyball Recap: Giddings Comes Up Short

Giddings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders.

Round Rock Christian Academy was led to victory by Gracie Michael and Lauren Woodard. Michael had six digs and two aces, while Woodard had nine assists. That's the most digs Michael has posted since back in October of 2024. London North also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Giddings' loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Giddings wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Manor on the 21st. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Johnson City on the 21st.
