Basketball Recap: Pratt Gets the Win

Pratt won the last time they faced Russell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pratt Greenbacks walked away with a 58-46 victory over the Russell Broncos. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greenbacks.

Russell's loss came despite strong showings from Kelvie Reeves and Norah Mooney. Reeves went 6 of 12 on her way to 16 points and four steals, while Mooney posted 13 points and three steals. Reeves is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Birney, who had nine points and three steals.

Pratt now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Russell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Pratt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 40-21 win against Great Bend on the 20th. As for Russell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-35 victory against Norton on the 20th.
