Basketball Recap: Hillsboro-Deering Comes Up Short

Hillsboro-Deering lost against Conant back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats took a blow against the Conant Orioles, falling 59-16. The Hillcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Hillsboro-Deering's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Conant, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillsboro-Deering will challenge Newfound Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillsboro-Deering is facing Newfound Regional at the right time seeing as Newfound Regional is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Conant, they will take on Raymond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
