Soccer Recap: Purdue Polytechnic Takes a Loss

If Purdue Polytechnic was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Purdue Broad Ripple last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Techies fell 7-5 to the Phalen Leadership Academy Falcon on Thursday.

Purdue Polytechnic hit Phalen Leadership Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Andy Jimenez (2), Jonathan De La Cruz-Ruiz, Victor Morales, and Ke'Andre Moore.

Purdue Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Phalen Leadership Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Purdue Polytechnic has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Indianapolis Washington on the 9th. As for Phalen Leadership Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 9-0 win against Hammond Morton on the 6th.
