The Cobras were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Crusaders on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Cobras, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Chula Vista Learning Community Charter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
