Baseball Preview: Prague Red Devils vs. Stroud Tigers
Prague is 1-9 against Stroud since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Prague Red Devils will look to defend their home field against the Stroud Tigers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Prague pushed their score to two the last time they played they, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. They won by a run and slipped past Bethel 2-1. The victory was just what Prague needed coming off of a 23-2 loss in their prior match.
Stroud proved they can win big on Monday (they won by eight) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Latta 8-6.
Jackson Campbell was excellent, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessen Leathers, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Prague's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-11. As for Stroud, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
