Soccer Recap: Mooresville Takes a Loss

Mooresville lost against Bloomington North back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pioneers lost 6-0 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Mooresville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Bloomington North are ranked 15th).

Mooresville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Bloomington North, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-1.

Looking ahead, Mooresville will head out to face off against Plainfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bloomington North, they will square off against Terre Haute South Vigo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomington North will be up against Terre Haute South Vigo's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.25 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
