Flag Football Recap: Spain Park Takes Down Ranked Prattville + How To Watch

Spain Park faced Prattville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Lions by a score of 14-7. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 14-6 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Spain Park got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jenna Kate Hutchison out in front who threw for 208 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 37 yards. Those 208 passing yards gave Hutchison a new career-high. A healthy portion of Hutchison's aerial production (80 yards to be exact) went to Chenelle Hunter.

Spain Park didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hunter and Rory Payton. Payton got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win made it two in a row for Spain Park and bumps their season record up to 9-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Prattville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Spain Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-7 loss against Auburn on the 16th. As for Prattville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 26-0 win against Hoover on the 21st.
