Volleyball Recap: St. Charles West Takes a Loss

St. Charles West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Winfield. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Winfield this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat back in September.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, St. Charles West sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-27, 25-22, 23-25, 15-11.

St. Charles West's loss dropped their record down to 4-13-1. As for Winfield, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-10-1.

As of now, neither St. Charles West nor Winfield have any future games scheduled.
