Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Eagles vs. St. Joseph Central Flyers

Having just played yesterday, the Eastern Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the St. Joseph Central Flyers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Eastern fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Portsmouth West on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 71-67 to the Senators.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Central came out on top against Oak Hill last Friday by a score of 60-37 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for St. Joseph Central, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Eastern strolled past St. Joseph Central in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 68-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
