Eldon has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. As for Hallsville, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-20.

Eldon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-3 defeat against Fulton on the 10th. As for Hallsville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against Moberly on the 10th.
