Volleyball Recap: The Connection School of Houston Gets the Win

The Connection School of Houston hadn't beaten Banff on the road since September 19, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Connection School of Houston came out on top in a nail-biter against Banff, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for The Connection School of Houston: when they faced off against Banff last Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

The Connection School of Houston had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 15-13.

The win got The Connection School of Houston back to even at 2-2. As for Banff, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Connection School of Houston will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on September 9. As for Banff, they will take on Founders Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
