Softball Recap: Mulberry Panthers vs. McKeel Academy Wildcats
Mulberry extended their postseason success on Wednesday against McKeel Academy. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Wildcats. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.
Laura Robinson spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kensingten Danforth was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorianys Castanon Cruz, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Mulberry kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive games.
Mulberry's record is now 16-10. As for McKeel Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.
