Softball Recap: Marshall Eagles vs. Arroyo Knights

Marshall had lost 19 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 0-17 to make it 20. They came up short against the Arroyo Knights, falling 18-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-2 back in April.

Marshall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izabell Rodriguez, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Marshall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-2 defeat against El Monte on the 5th. As for Arroyo, they have also already played their next match, a 12-1 loss against South El Monte on the 5th.
