Eldorado suffers sixth straight loss on the road

Recap: Eldorado Sundevils vs. Legacy Longhorns

After flying high against the Chaparral Cowboys on Tuesday, the Eldorado Sundevils came back down to earth. Eldorado was beaten by Legacy 62-18 on Wednesday. Eldorado has not had much luck with Legacy recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Leading Legacy to victory were Deshaya Hart and Laila Gines. Hart scored 14 points along with five steals, while Gines scored ten points along with nine steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleese Mckenzie, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.

Eldorado bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Legacy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eldorado will challenge Sunrise Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Legacy, they will head out on the road to face off against Pahrump Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
