The Triopia Trojans will face off against the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Miller wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Teimeyer, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Teimeyer a new career-high.

Triopia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
