Football Recap: McCutcheon Comes Up Short

McCutcheon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 34-7 defeat at the hands of the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves.

Maddox Woodcock was his usual excellent self, rushing for 129 yards and one score on only ten carries, while also throwing for 65 yards and one touchdown for Terre Haute South Vigo.

McCutcheon's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

McCutcheon has already played their next matchup, a 29-23 defeat against Danville on the 10th. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-0 win against Southport on the 10th.
