Hebbronville won the last time they faced Premont and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hebbronville Longhorns put the hurt on the Premont Cowboys with a sharp 61-40 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Longhorns.

Oscar Carrillo had a dynamite game for Hebbronville, putting up 24 points. Javier Lozano was another key player, posting eight points.

Hebbronville's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Premont, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hebbronville will venture away from home to take on Orange Grove at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Premont, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Freer at 5:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
