Baseball Game Preview: Marlboro Mustangs vs. Shore Regional Blue Devils

The Marlboro Mustangs will face off against the Shore Regional Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Marlboro's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against Holmdel by a score of 4-0. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Shore Regional entered their tilt with Freehold Boro on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Colonials.

Marlboro's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Shore Regional, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
