Baseball Recap: Saguaro Takes a Loss

Saguaro lost against Chaparral back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sabercats lost 10-4 to the Firebirds.

Jake Claver made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Saguaro's loss dropped their record down to 11-10-1. As for Chaparral, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Saguaro will venture away from home to face off against Marcos de Niza at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaparral, they will host Campo Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
