Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 61-40 to the South Gibson Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 47-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South Gibson, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Madison will be playing at home against Jackson North Side at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Gibson will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' game: after the Mustangs face off against the Indians, they'll take on South Gibson again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
