Basketball Recap: East Jessamine Comes Up Short

After flying high against Trinity Christian Academy last Tuesday, East Jessamine came back down to earth. The East Jessamine Jaguars lost 82-61 to the North Hardin Trojans on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Trojans are ranked 95th).

East Jessamine has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for North Hardin, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8.

East Jessamine has already played their next contest, a 65-58 defeat against Rockcastle County on the 25th. As for North Hardin, they will challenge Bowling Green at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. North Hardin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Bowling Green likes a good challenge.
