Recap: Redeemer Christian Lions vs. Riverside Christian Wranglers
The Redeemer Christian Lions won the last time they faced the Riverside Christian Wranglers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Redeemer Christian came out on top against the Wranglers by a score of 31-22. The win made it back-to-back wins for Redeemer Christian.
Redeemer Christian found their leader in underclassman Cami Satterfield, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Athena Nichols, who scored two points along with nine steals.
Redeemer Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Riverside Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redeemer Christian will face off against the Minutemen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Countryside Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Riverside Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. First Christian is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
