Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for King's Academy

King's Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eastside College Prep Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: King's Academy took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8, 25-7.

King's Academy found their leader in sophomore Yuju Kim, who had six digs and two aces.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Eastside College Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. King's Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Priory at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eastside College Prep will challenge rival Castilleja at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
