Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on John Strobel: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made one tackle (1.0 for loss) as Maize South fell to Maize 49-0. We certainly expect to see more performances from Strobel considering he's already seeing the field as a sophomore.

Coming up, Strobel and Maize South will take on Derby on Friday. The Mavericks will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 53 places lower in Kansas), but they're not letting that get them down.
