Volleyball Recap: Palmdale Academy Charter School Takes a Loss

Palmdale Academy Charter School lost against Vasquez back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Jaguars came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-17.

Vasquez found their leader in sophomore Leonardo Rivas, who had seven digs, two blocks, and two aces. Cameron Drayer also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

Palmdale Academy Charter School now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Vasquez, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Coincidentally, Palmdale Academy Charter School and Vasquez will both be playing Trinity Classical Academy the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Jaguars will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
