Friday just wasn't the day for Lincoln's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bear River Bruins on Friday. The Fighting Zebras' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Lincoln saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Knell, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lincoln's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Bear River, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Lincoln will host Vista del Lago at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bear River, they will square off against Marysville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
