Basketball Recap: Capuchino Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Capuchino extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Dominic Vanden Berghe. The Capuchino Mustangs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Westmoor Rams on Wednesday, sneaking past 55-52 thanks in part to Vanden Berghe, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Matthew Alas, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 20 points. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Capuchino's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-9. As for Westmoor, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Capuchino didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-58 win against Oceana on the 24th. Westmoor has also already played their next game, a 75-44 loss against Terra Nova on the 24th.
