San Jacinto and Adelanto squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but San Jacinto had to settle for second. They came up short against the Saints, falling 16-10. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Kamorah Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off three home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Shaila Fernandez, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

San Jacinto now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Adelanto, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-9.

San Jacinto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Adelanto, they will take on Rio Hondo Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Kares will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight.
