Baseball Recap: Lone Peak Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

Lone Peak owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They blew past the Copper Hills Grizzlies 7-0. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

Landon Fry was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Bo Barnes, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Lone Peak was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Copper Hills only posted a batting average of .125.

The victory keeps Lone Peak at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Copper Hills, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Lone Peak will face off against Cedar Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Copper Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Sanpete at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
