Soccer Game Preview: Portola vs. Northwood

After a short break, it's finally time for some more action. The Portola Bulldogs will welcome the Northwood Timberwolves at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Portola will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Northwood better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Portola really get things going. Portola was the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Sage Hill two weeks ago. That three goal margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

They hit Sage Hill with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kesin Jayakumar (2), Ryan Arafeh, and Elhadi Elhadi.

Meanwhile, Northwood entered their contest against University two weeks ago without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Northwood fell just short of University by a score of 3-2. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Portola, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1.
