After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rancho Cotate, St. Vincent de Paul was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 60-31 victory over the Elsie Allen Lobos. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season.

St. Vincent de Paul was led to victory by Dylan Chelew and Roman Yusupov. Chelew went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and six rebounds, while Yusupov went 6 of 8 on his way to 15 points and five boards. That's the most points Yusupov has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Ellis, who posted seven points and six boards.

With the win, St. Vincent de Paul broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-8. As for Elsie Allen, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

As for Elsie Allen, they will take on Rancho Cotate at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rancho Cotate knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Elsie Allen likes a good challenge.
