Basketball Recap: Durham Academy Takes a Loss

Durham Academy lost against Ravenscroft last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Durham Academy Cavaliers took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ravenscroft Ravens.

When it comes to explaining why Durham Academy lost, don't look at Quin Frasher. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 10 on his way to 18 points and five boards. Frasher is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played. PJ Jeffries was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Durham Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Ravenscroft, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 19-10 record this season.
