Football Recap: Birdville Wins Going Away Against Granbury + How To Watch

Birdville was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Granbury on Friday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 35-14 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

Christian Kargbo had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 114 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Another rusher making a difference was Anthony White, who rushed for 70 yards and one score.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Birdville proved: they limited Granbury to a paltry 2.8 yards per carry. The team can thank Jacob Martinez for the heroic effort on defense: he. Birdville didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.3.
