Catalina extends road losing streak to 16

The Catalina Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by Thatcher on the road and fell 67-11. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Catalina has scored all season.

Thatcher was led to victory by Chad Johnson and Braden Bryce. Johnson scored 12 points, while Bryce scored ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bryce has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dylan Riney, who scored nine points along with two steals.

Catalina's defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Thatcher, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

Catalina will be playing at home against Empire at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Empire's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. As for Thatcher, they will head out on the road to square off against Pima at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pima is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
