Cass Tech came out on top against University Liggett on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Technicians took their match against the Knights 6-1. This was payback for the Technicians, who suffered a 17-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cass Tech's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for University Liggett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cass Tech will take on Renaissance at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for University Liggett, they will face off against Oakland Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
