After only 13 points in their last matchup, Whitney made sure to put some points up on the board against Davis Sr. on Tuesday. The Wildcats took their game with ease, bagging a 39-6 victory over the Blue Devils. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Whitney is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.6 points on average over those games. As for Davis Sr., this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitney will challenge Folsom at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.39 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Davis Sr., they will square off against Oak Ridge at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 6.5 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
