Baseball Recap: Milwaukee School of Languages Beats Milwaukee Riverside for Their Fourth Straight Win

Milwaukee School of Languages took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Milwaukee Riverside, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Tigers on Tuesday. The Hawks' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Brewer Larkee was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Larkee was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

Milwaukee School of Languages' record is now 4-0. As for Milwaukee Riverside, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Milwaukee School of Languages will head out to take on St. Francis at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks are facing the Mariners at the right time seeing as the Mariners are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
