Recap: Central Blue Eagles vs. Rock Bridge Bruins

The Central Blue Eagles waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over Rock Bridge. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Moore out in front who scored 15 points along with four steals. Moore is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tim Wooden, who scored 17 points along with two steals.

Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Rock Bridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will take on Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 421 points over their last five matches. Rock Bridge is on the road again on Saturday and plays Hillsboro at 5:30 p.m. on February 10th.
