Basketball Recap: East Lawrence Takes a Loss

East Lawrence lost against Lawrence County back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Lawrence Eagles took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawrence County Red Devils. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Lawrence County, they moved to 12-17 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

East Lawrence will challenge Good Hope at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Good Hope knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 matches -- so hopefully East Lawrence likes a good challenge. Lawrence County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
