Baseball Game Preview: Gunn Titans vs. Milpitas Trojans

The Gunn Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Milpitas Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Gunn and 17 for Milpitas.

Things were looking good for Gunn after they put the first run on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Monta Vista by a score of 5-4.

Albert Pellizzari led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cam Owen, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Milpitas' offense. They lost 6-0 to Los Gatos on Friday.

Gunn's record now sits at 8-15. As for Milpitas, their record is now 2-19.

Gunn skirted past Milpitas 3-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2022. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
